MUSKOGEE, Okla.- Women's golf traveled to Muskogee to compete in the NSU Women's Golf Classic, a two day two round tournament. The Jets finished 17th shooting a team score of 654.
After day one, the Jets shot 323 as a team. Bethany Griffiths led the Jets through day one shooting 75. After day two, the Jets finished with a team score of 654. Griffiths was the top finisher for the Jets in 34th place and shot 152 over the two rounds. Aiden Coffelt and Daniela Alvarez both brought in scores of 167. Isabella Callaba finished the tournament with a 168 and Brooklyn Davis finished shooting 170.
The Jets team finished 17th.
The Jets also entered two individuals,
Avery Grunert and
Mikaela Stenborg. Stenborg, a freshman, placed 74th as an individual and shot 161. Grunert, also a freshman Jet, shot 175 finishing in the top 100.
The Jets will be back September 23rd in Kearney, Nebraska for the MIAA Fall Conference Preview.
