Last Time Out
The Jets opened conference play at home against Arkansas-Fort Smith, falling in a hard-fought 3–1 battle. Two of the first three sets pushed past 25 points, showcasing the competitive energy on both sides. Isabella Lamb paced the Jets' attack with 14 kills and a .344 hitting percentage, while Josie Weers anchored the defense with a season-high 20 digs.

On Friday, the Jets welcomed the nation's top-ranked Central Oklahoma Bronchos. The Jets struggled to slow down UCO's high-powered offense, dropping the match 3–0. Offensively, Avery Kelley and Weers led the way with five kills apiece.


Scouting the Jets 
Isabella Lamb continues to power the Jets' offense, leading the team with 119 kills and a team-best .311 hitting percentage. She's joined up front by Sky Miller and Hannah Tymitz, who have added 112 and 110 kills, respectively, to bolster the attack. Madalyn Hoot has dished out 390 assists.  Defensively, Brooklyn Lane anchors the back row with a team-high 180 digs, while Lamb has also made her presence felt at the net, posting a team-leading 30 blocks.


Behind Enemy Lines
The Hornets enter the weekend on an 11-match winning streak after sweeping MoWest and Northwest Missouri last weekend. Nyia Anderson leads the Hornet attack with 132 kills, while Brailee Bogle has set the tempo offensively with 283 assists. Defensively, Boglarka Rady anchors the back row with 180 digs, and Brooklynn Weaver controls the net with a team-high 58 blocks.

Washburn comes to town as the nation's 10th-ranked team. The Ichabods split last weekend, defeating Northwest Missouri before falling in a ranked matchup against MoWest. Offensively, Austin Broadie paces Washburn with 154 kills and a .384 hitting percentage. Keilah Rivers and Taylor Rottinghaus have combined for 30 service aces, while Rottinghaus also leads the Ichabod defense with 177 digs.

The Series
The Jets hold a 5-13 record against Emporia State historically. The Hornets took the last meeting earlier this season when the teams met for a non-conference matchup. 

Washburn has won their last 13 games against the Jets. The teams last met in early September, with the Ichabods winning 3-0.
