On Friday, the Jets faced the Hornets in a high-scoring contest that ended in a 3-1 setback.
Emma Kolbe tied the match with a penalty kick early in the second half, but Emporia State struck late, netting the game-winner in the 80th minute and adding an insurance goal just two minutes later.
Sunday's matchup against Washburn was a defensive battle, with neither side breaking through in the first half. The Ichabods scored the lone goal of the match in the 66th minute. The Jets nearly found the equalizer in the 88th minute when
Morgan Todd had a chance on goal, but Washburn's defense held strong to seal the 1-0 result.

Margaret Madden has been the go-to scorer for the Bearcats, tallying three goals and six points. Ximena Arnau and Makenna West sit tied for second on the team with three points each. Six other Bearcats have added one goal apiece, showing balance across the roster. Goalkeeper Lily Ellis has been a steady anchor, making 30 saves through six contests.
