KENOSHA, Wis.- Kiprotich raced at Cross Country Nationals for the first time in his career. Kiprotich placed 15th at Regionals to punch his ticket to Nationals.
 
- The individual overall winner was Kidus Begshaw of Adams State breaking the 30 minute threshold with a time of 29:38.8. Second place would be taken by Antonin Saint Peyre of Wingate who finished just three seconds behind Begshaw. Wingate would take the team title, with 62 points and five runners finishing in the top 25. Adams State secured the second spot for teams with four runners in the top 25, and their fifth runner taking 27th place for a total of 71 points. 

- Timothy would place 127th at Nationals with a time of 32:00.3. Through the second marker, Kiprotich was in 157th place with a 7:07.9 split. Later, at the fifth checkpoint, Kiprotich had a pace of 15:47.7, snagging him 113th place. At the 9.3k mark, Kiprotich found himself in 112nd place with a time of 29:56.8. Kiprotich would finish strong, taking 127th place for his first race on the National stage.
