WICHITA- The Jets wrapped up the Newman Classic against Eastern New Mexico. The Jets would fall, 89-54.

How it Happened:
- The first basket of the game was a three-pointer by Monica Redondo. With a 4-0 run, the Greyhounds would take the lead at 4-3. A basket by Jaeden McMillin would give the Jets back the lead at 5-4. The Jets and Greyhounds would trade back and forth the lead, through the first five minutes of play. A 12-0 run throughout the rest of the first quarter would give ENMU the 18-7 lead to end the first. 
- The Jets would score their first basket in over five minutes with a free throw by Valeriya Lioukina. The Greyhounds continued to put defensive pressure on the Jets offense, hindering their scoring abilities. ENMU would extend their lead to 25-9 with seven to go in the second. A 4-0 run with scores by Dani Williams and Amaya  Perez gave the offense some energy. The score by Perez led to a 6-2 run. ENMU would score the final basket of the half to take the 37-23 lead into the break. 
- Out of halftime, Lioukina netted the first basket for the Jets. The Greyhounds would answer with a bucket, but Alexis Martin cut the deficit back down to 12 with her fourth point on the game. Martin would then sink a three-pointer to cut the game to a single digit deficit, 39-30 with under seven to play in the third. Martin would then score her seventh straight point to make it 39-32. ENMU finally had an answer, putting up a 5-0 run to re-extend their lead to double-digits. By the end of the third quarter, ENMU was able to stretch their lead out to 20 at 62-42. 
- The Jets would try to battle with ENMU in the final quarter, but could not get the offense rolling to close the gap. The Greyhounds would come away with the win, 89-54.

- Martin led the Jets with 11 and five rebounds. 
- Ramiro and D. Williams added eight a piece. 

Women's Basketball is back in Fugate on Monday night to host Central Christian at 5:30 PM.
