WICHITA-  Mike MacNeill announced his resignation from his position as Newman Volleyball's Head Coach on Monday. 

"Newman Athletics would like to thank Coach MacNeill for his time served and wish him and his family well in their future endeavors," said Athletic Director Kenyon Spears.

MacNeill joined the Jets in July 2025 for his first season leading Newman. Under his leadership, the Jets posted a 3-24 overall record, going 1-15 in MIAA conference play. MacNeill and the Jets snagged the program's first conference win since the 2022 season.

"We will immediately begin a national search to find the best candidate that will implement a great culture that brings a great student-athlete experience without compromising academics," said Spears.
