Last Time Out
The Jets split two match-ups at home last weekend to Central Oklahoma and Rogers State. Newman hosted the Bronchos first, dropping the Thursday night tilt.
Delainey Wylie,
Jaeden McMillin, and
Layla Pierce each contributed 8 points, leading the Jets in scoring. Against UCO, the Jets held even with the Bronchos for three quarters of the game. At halftime the score was tied at 32 all.
Against the Hillcats, the Jets dominated, winning 67-41. The Jets had a 32-26 lead at the halftime break, but a dominant third quarter by the Jets, holding the Hillcats to two points, gave Newman the edge and ended up being the difference maker.
Paige Craft led with 15 points, while
Jaeden McMillin finished right behind her, contributing 14 points to the Jets scoring attack.
