WICHITA FALLS, Texas- The Jets faced UT Tyler for a Sunday morning match up. On the men's side, the Patriots are ranked No. 5 in ITA rankings. On the women's side, the Patriots are ranked No. 22 in ITA rankings. The Patriots were able to snag both team matches from the Jets. The final score was 4-0 on the men's side and 4-1 on the women's side. 

Men's Tennis: NU 0, No. 5 UTT 4
The Patriots took the doubles point to take the 1-0 early lead. At the No. 1 spot, UT Tyler was able to snag the match to take their lead to 2-0. The next point came from the N0. 4 singles match that put the Patriots up 3-0. UT Tyler was then able to take the No. 2 singles match to clinch the team match with a 4-0 score. 

Women's Tennis: NU 1, No. 22 UTT 4
The Patriots were able to take the doubles point to head into singles with the 1-0 lead. Dana Issabayeva in the No. 1 singles spot took her first set in dominant fashion with a 6-2 win. Her opponent was then able to battle out the win in the next two sets to give the Patriots a 2-0 lead. Ani Zeikidze snagged a point for the Jets at the No. 2 spot with dominant 6-3 wins in both sets. This made the score 2-1. The Patriots were able to take the No. 3 and No. 4 singles matches to clinch the win with the score of 4-1. 

The Jets are back in action on March 14th and March 15th. Both teams will host Texas A&M -Texarkana and William Jewell at the Riverside Tennis Courts.
