TOPEKA, Kan.- Men's and Women's Tennis traveled to Topeka to face two ranked Washburn squads. On the men's side the Ichabods are ranked No. 7 and on the women's side the Ichabods are ranked No. 9. The women's team fell short, 5-2. The men's team fell, 7-0. 
 
Men's Tennis: NU 0, WU 7
The Ichabods swept the Jets in doubles play with help from a ranked doubles team, No. 1 ranked Tim Hammes and Matthew Earle. Heading into singles play the Ichabods had the 1-0 lead. At the No. 1 spot, 
Ali Mounir fell short against No. 5 ranked Hammes, allowing the Ichabods to take a 2-0 lead. At the No. 3 spot, the Ichabods took their third point of the match. WU was able to clinch the match with a win at the second spot, making it 4-0. The Ichabods would take the rest of the singles matches and take the team match at 7-0. 
Women's Tennis: NU 2, WU 5
The Ichabods swept the Jets in doubles play with help from the No. 3 ranked doubles squad in DII. The Ichabods held the 1-0 early lead. At the No. 2 spot, Ana Zeikidze won the Jets their first point with a 6-2 set one win and a set two win at 6-3. The Ichabods took the No.1 singles spot, No. 18 ranked Renske Ubachs took the match over 
Dana Issabayeva. This pushed the Ichabods to a 2-1 lead. WU pushed their lead to 3-1 after taking the No. 3 spot. 
Anastassiya Kim was awarded her match point at the No. 6 spot after her opponent retired making it 3-2. The Ichabods would close out the match, taking two more singles matches to make the final score 5-2.
