Monkey Island, OK. - Women's golf traveled to Oklahoma to compete in the Spring Central Regional Preview. As a team the Jets shot a 665, sliding them to an 18th place finish.
Day one saw the Jets shoot a 335, led by a pair of 82's from
Isabella Callaba and
Bethany Griffiths. The highlight of Callaba's round was her birdie on the course's first hole. Griffiths sprinkled in a couple birdies of her own on the 12th and 18th hole.
Aiden Coffelt shot an 84 while
Brooklyn Davis and
Mikaela Stenborg both turned in 87s.
Day two saw Stenborg improve her score by seven strokes. Three birdies throughout her second round aided the turnaround. Callaba turned in another 82, while
Aiden Coffelt turned in an 82 of her own. Davis and Griffiths turned in 86s to close out their tournament.
Brooklyn Davis had three birdies of her own in her final round. As a unit, the Jets shot a 665 in the event.
