GREENWOOD, Ind.- Seven Newman Tennis athletes were named to the 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, to recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Men's Tennis
Andrea Bramati won six matches in singles play this season. Bramati added seven wins in his doubles play.
Nicolo Lippolis posted a 10-11 record in doubles play this season, which earned him All-MIAA Honorable Mention status. Lippolis added eight singles match victories.
Ali Mounir posted an 11-11 record in doubles this season, which helped him earn All-MIAA Honorable Mention. Mounir played No.1 singles the entire season for the Jets where he grabbed nine wins at the top spot. Mounir ended the season with a 14.69 ITF world tennis number.
Andrea Torrini posted seven singles match wins in the 2024-25 season with two wins in doubles play.
Women's Tennis
Nicole Bono recorded seven wins in the 2024-25 season in her singles play. In doubles play, Bono posted a 7-15 doubles record.
Luna Feillon grabbed 12 wins on the singles in her singles play. Feillon also posted an 11-12 record in doubles matches played.
Mariana Jimenez posted nine wins in singles play, dropping just three matches this season. In doubles play, Jimenez posted a 9-8 record.
