WICHITA- Newman Athletics announces Paige Roubideaux as the next Head Cheer and Dance Coach.

Roubideaux has been involved in dance for 19 years and cheer for nine years. Her time as a student-athlete at Newman, where she was a member of both the cheer and dance teams, helped shape her passion for collegiate athletics and coaching.

"I am honored to serve as the head coach," said Roubideaux. "Throughout every stage of my journey at Newman, the university and community have been consistently supportive, friendly, and welcoming. It's truly a special place that continues to feel like home."

Roubideaux began her undergraduate studies at Newman in the fall of 2019 and graduated in the spring of 2022 with her bachelor's degree in criminal justice and psychology with a minor in sociology. As a student, Roubideaux was actively involved on campus as she was a member of cheer and dance.

In the spring of 2022, Roubideaux graduated from Newman with the Robbi and Larry Heck Outstanding Social Sciences Student Award. After graduation, she began her Master's degree in Criminal Justice at Wichita State University, which she completed in the spring of 2024. During her graduate studies, she served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Criminal Justice program, where she gained valuable experience in teaching and academic support.
