Last Time Out
In non-conference play, the Jets posted a 1-4-1 record. Sosu stayed hot in the next matchup at Southwest Baptist, adding another goal, but the Jets fell 2-0. Sosu's three goals in the first week of play earned her MIAA Offensive Player of the Week honors. This would be her first time earning this award in her Jet career.

The following week, Newman traveled to face Southwestern Oklahoma State and Oklahoma Christian. Against SWOSU, Sosu continued her offensive surge with two goals, both assisted by Emma Kolbe, giving the Jets a 2-0 lead before the Bulldogs stormed back with five unanswered goals to win 5-2. In the contest against Oklahoma Christian, Kolbe netted her second goal of the season and Abbey Gatesman scored her first, securing a 2-2 draw.

To close non-conference action, the Jets hosted Northwestern Oklahoma State and Southern Nazarene.
