Wichita- The Jets hosted No. 2 Central Oklahoma for a Friday-night showdown, but the Bronchos proved too strong, sweeping the match 3-0.

The Jets and Bronchos traded points early, pulling even at 3 after a kill from
Nicole Soto. The Bronchos responded with an 8-0 run later in the set to extend their lead to 18-7. Kills by
Josie Weers and
Sky Miller halted the scoring surge to bring the Jets within seven. Central Oklahoma stayed in control and finished the set off, winning 25-13.Â
UCO set the tone early in the second set, getting out to a 7-1 lead.
Avery Kelley ended the early run with a kill, but the Bronchos lead quickly grew to 16-4.
Isabella Lamb added a kill later in the set, but the Jets couldn't recover from the early deficit. Central Oklahoma closed out the second set, 25-11.Â
The Jets found some rhythm in the third set, keeping the set tied in the early moments.
Hannah Tymitz and Weers led the offensive attack, recording multiple kills each in the set. The Jets pulled within five on a Tymitz kill, but the Bronchos held off the late push and secured the set 25-19 to complete the sweep.Â
