Claremore, Okla.- Women's basketball traveled across state lines to face Rogers State, falling in a back-and-forth contest, 65–58.

Monica Redondo opened the scoring with a three-pointer in the first 20 seconds of the game. RSU responded with consecutive baskets before
Paige Craft converted a layup and completed the three-point play to give the Jets a 6–4 lead. The teams traded baskets until
Jaeden McMillin knocked down a layup to extend the Jets' advantage heading into the media timeout.
Carli Carlson later connected from beyond the arc to push the lead to eight, but the Hillcats answered with baskets of their own, cutting the Jets' lead to two by the end of the quarter.
-Scoring was slow to open the second quarter, as two separate Hillcats knocked down free throws to tie the game at 16 with 6:53 remaining before a Hillcat three-pointer gave them the lead.
Paige Craft answered with a three from beyond the arc for the Jets' first points of the quarter, tying the game at 19, then followed it up seconds later with another triple to put the Jets back in front. The Hillcats continued to pressure the offensive end, but
Monica Redondo drained a three to knot the score at 26 with one minute left in the half. RSU closed the half with a three-pointer of its own, taking a 29–26 lead into the break.

Jaeden McMillin knocked down a pair of free throws early in the second half for the Jets before the Hillcats answered with another three-pointer. Newman tied the game shortly after on an
Amaya Perez layup, but RSU responded with four unanswered points.
Delainey Wylie scored her first points of the game to give the Jets a 37–36 lead heading into the media timeout. The Hillcats followed with a 6–0 run, which was stopped by an
Alexis Martin three to pull Newman back within two. The Hillcats closed the quarter by converting two free throws with four seconds remaining to take a 48–44 lead into the final quarter.
