How it Happened
UCO took the first two points before

Madalyn Hoot. The Bronchos used a Newman error and an Emma Halstead kill to move ahead 5-1 before
Isabella Lamb stopped the stretch. The Jets pulled within 6-5 on

Ashlyn Warburton kill, but UCO answered with five of the next six points, including kills from Taylor Fenton and Caroline Clayton, to make it 11-6. Georgia Ahlert's ace pushed the Bronchos to 24-19, and after Lamb's kill won the next rally, Kate Wells closed the set with a kill for a 25-20 UCO win.
The Jets stayed even early in the second set, getting two Lamb kills from Hoot and a Raschen kill from Hoot before Hoot's kill tied it at 4-4. UCO broke away with six straight points to go up 10-4, and later pushed the margin to 14-5. Miller and
Avery Kelley kills helped NU add points, and a
MaddyLynn Shumway ace followed by another Raschen kill made it 17-12 before Lamb's kill and a UCO attack error brought the Jets within 18-14. The Bronchos moved back out with consecutive Ahlert kills and after Hoot served an ace at 24-17, Riley Roberts finished the set at 25-18 with a kill from Wells.
