Last Time Out
The Jets hit the road to face Emporia State on February 21st, falling to the Hornets 71–59.

Emporia State opened the game on an 8–0 run, forcing an early Jets timeout. Valeriya Lioukina got the Jets on the board with a three-pointer, and Alexis Martin followed with a tough layup to bring Newman within two. The Hornets answered with a run of their own to stretch the lead, but Martin knocked down a three off a pass from Paige Craft, and defensive stops from Delainey Wylie and Monica Redondo helped keep it a 14–9 game at the end of the first quarter. The Jets found more rhythm in the second quarter. Carli Carlson scored her first points of the night, while Amaya Perez and Redondo each connected from beyond the arc to cut the deficit to one. The teams traded baskets through the remainder of the half, with Dani Williams adding a breakaway layup, but Emporia State carried a 33–27 lead into halftime. The Hornets opened the third on a 6–0 run to extend their advantage. Redondo responded with a three, and Paige Craft added her first points after a Jets timeout to stop the momentum. Wylie knocked down a pair from deep to help spark the Jets, but Emporia State maintained control and led 51–39 heading into the fourth. Redondo scored early at the line in the final quarter, and Martin continued to push the offense with a driving layup and a three-pointer. Despite late baskets from Lioukina and Martin, the Jets were unable to fully close the gap as the Hornets secured the 71–59 win.

Martin led the Jets with 21 points, while Lioukina added 10. Carlson finished with eight points and four rebounds.
