WICHITA - The Jets faced Central Missouri for their first conference match-up of the season. In a Friday doubleheader, the Jets fell to UCM, 9-0, in game one and ... 4-0 in game two.
Game one vs Central Missouri: NU 0, UCM 9
- Central Missouri would get their lead-off batter on, but a good throw down by AJ Borja would rid her of the base path. The Jennies would score the first runs off a two RBI single. A passed ball would plate a third run for the Jennies. A first and third situation scored a fourth run for the Jennies, but the Jets were able to get the runner going to second for their second out of the inning. A pop fly would bring the Jets up to bat. The Jets and the Jennies would go the next two and a half innings without scoring a run.
- In the top of the fourth, the Jennies would go on to score two more runs off of two hits. The Jets would turn a line drive double play to get out of the inning. The Jets would look to score in the top of the fourth, but the Jennies would cut them short, turning a line drive double play of their own. The score would sit at 6-0. At the top of the fifth, the Jennies would score three unanswered runs to end the game in five innings.

- Nordby went 1-2 with a stolen base.
- Lani Dryden went 1-2.
Game two vs Central Missouri: NU 5, UCM 8
- In Game Two, the Jennies scored the first run off a solo home run in the top of the first. The Jets would answer back in the bottom of the second, following a Lauren McNaught lead-off single, an Emma Taylor infield single, and a ground out fielder's choice by Travia Smith. In the bottom of the third, the Jets would gain the lead after Hannah Nordby reached on a fielder's choice and was brought in on a UCM fielding error.
- A three-run home run would regain the lead for the Jennies, and a double and a wild pitch would plate an additional two runs for the Jennies, taking their lead to 6-2. In the bottom of the fourth, the Jets would score their third run after Travia Smith hit a single, then stole a base and scored on a Kaila Kaahu single to center field. UCM would go on to score two more runs in the top of the sixth off three hits, taking the score to 8-3. The Jets would shut down a threatening UCM with a double play off a caught line drive. In the bottom of the seventh, the Jets would plate two runs via a fielder's choice and a Taylor single.
