ST.JOSEPH, Mo.-The Jets traveled to St. Joseph, Missouri for a weekend series against Missouri Western. The Griffons would take game one, 15-1.
How it Happened:

Anthony Cannavino recorded the first hit for the Jets with a single to center field in the first inning. Missouri Western would score first with a solo home run in the first inning, followed by another solo in the second to make it 2-0. The Griffons broke the game open in the third inning, extending the lead to 5-0.
-Newman would get on the board in the fourth inning with an RBI single from
Collin Morris, scoring
Thomas Munn. Missouri Western quickly responded with a wild pitch to bring in a run before the Griffons would strike again with a three-run homer, pushing the advantage to 9-1. They added a run in the fifth and five more runs in the sixth inning to extend their lead to 15-1. The Griffons would take game one through seven innings with a final score of 15-1.
