KANSAS CITY, Mo.- United Soccer Coaches announced on Friday the College Team Academic Award winners, recognized for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year. Newman Women's Soccer earned a 3.37 team GPA for the 2025-26 season. 

A total of 777 soccer teams (326 men, 451 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year. Of that total, 175 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized.

The Jets open their season on August 27th where they will face Northwestern Oklahoma State in Alva, Oklahoma at 6 PM.
