As a Sophomore (2009):
Played in 31 of 32 matches in 2009 for the Jets…had a career high 16 digs against Texas-Permian Basin on Oct 10, 2009…Also had double digit digs against St.Edwards and Central Oklahoma.

Before Newman:
Played two seasons at Cowley College (Kan.)…As a freshman in 2008, she posted a158 digs for the Lady Tigers, and recorded 25 service aces in 135 sets played.

Born June 2, 1989 in Columbus, Neb…Full name Abbee Elizabeth Widler…Daughter of Todd and Kim Widler…Plays club volleyball for the Shockwave…Majoring in Nursing.
