Coffeyville Community College (2015-17): Kellgren played in 65 games with 207 at-bats, 60 hits, 41 runs, 34 RBIs, 25 walks, and a .290 batting average... Kellgren also posted a .382 on base percentage and .425 slugging percentage.

In High School: Kellgren attended Liberty North High School and was a varsity baseball player and varsity wrestler, he played catcher and first base and was a state qualifier in wrestling in 2015.
