In High School: Eshelman attended Wichita High School East and was a three year varsity athlete who participated in both baseball and swimming… As a baseball player Eshelman earned all-city honorable mention and offensive player of the year in 2016, and second team all-city second base in 2017... His team made two regional championship appearances in 2015 and 2017... As a swimmer his team were three time city league champion and he individually qualified for state his senior year.
