GETTING TO KNOW KRISTEN...

As a Junior (2010):
Played in 94 sets while appearing in 29 matches...had 30 assists and a team high 309 digs in her first year with the Jets.

Before Newman:
Spent the last two years at Seminole State College in Oklahoma…As a freshman, she earned NJCAA Region II Honorable Mention…As a sophomore in 2009, she was ranked second in the NJCAA in digs…Helped led the SSC Trojans to a NJCAA National Tournament appearance…Was an Oklahoma All Star, and Glenpool HS team MVP during the 2006 and 2007 school years.

Born June 3, 1989 in Tulsa, Okla…Full name is Kristen Lea White…Daughter of Chen Emde and Randy White…Majoring in Biology / Secondary Education.
