Played in 85 sets, splitting time at the libero position with Kristen White...Recorded 14 digs in her first match with the Jets...Posted a career-high 25 digs in a four-set win over Arkansas-Fort Smith on Oct. 30 in Fort Smith, Ark. ...Notched three-straight 20+-dig matches to start the second half of Heartland Conference play...Finished with 10-or-more digs in eight of the final nine games of the season...Finished the season with 281 digs...Named to the All-Heartland Conference Honor Roll.

Before Newman:
Played two years at Seward County Community College in Liberal, Kan. ...Started in every match in her two years at SCCC...Earned All-Jayhawk Conference and All-Region Libero honors as a freshman...Helped the Lady Saints win the Jayhawk Conference Championship as a sophomore in 2009...Finished her career at SCCC third all-time in digs...Was an Athletic Director's Honor Roll honoree in 2009...Played high school volleyball for coach Valerie Most at Southeast High School in Wichita, Kan. ...Earned All-Conference Libero Honors and Second Team All-City hitter honors during her time at Southeast.
