GETTING TO KNOW KATELYN...
As a Junior (2011):
Played in 97 sets with a total of 196 kills, 182 assists, 231 digs and 41 blocks...Averaging 2.38 digs per set and 2.02 digs per set.

Before Newman:
Played at Emporia State and finished second in the MIAA conference...earned MIAA honorable mention while at ESU...Played volleyball for Coach Rose Whittman while attending Sacred Heart High School.

Born Arpil 25, 1991…Full name is Katelyn Rae Schmidtberger...Daughter of Arnold and Kathy Schmitberger…Majoring in Sports Communication.
