GETTING TO KNOW CHRIS...
As a Junior (2010):
Played in 15 games while making 12 starts...Finished fifth on the 2010 squad with six points after scoring two goals and adding two assists in his first season of eligibility with the Jets...First goal as a Jet came in a 4-0 win over Tabor on Sept. 6 in Wichita...Added another goal in a 4-1 win over Texas-Permian Basin on Oct. 15 in Wichita.

Before Newman:
Played two seasons for Heartland Conference rival St. Mary's.
