Was named to the Junior College All-American Honorable Mention team…Also earned First team All-Jayhawk honors along with First Team All-Region honors…Finished as Johnson County CC all time wins leader (18)…Went 10-2 with a 2.48 ERA as a sophomore.

Graduated from Hayden High School in Topeka, Kan., where he played for Coach Aaron Becker.
