Before Newman:
Played two seasons of junior college baseball at Coffeyville Community College in Coffeyville, Kansas leading the team in singles (61). Played high school baseball for coach Larry Burrows at Jacksonville High School in Jacksonville, Arkansas...Was named All-Conference, All-State, and played in the All-Arkansas All-Star Game...Also lettered in football, where he was named All-Conference and All-State.

Born May 15, 1991 in Jacksonville, Arkansas...Full name is Terrell Lamont Brown...Son of Harold and Evelyn Brown...Majoring in Sports Communications.
