Before Newman:
As a junior played at Central Oklahoma where he played in 41 games and had a .336 batting average and .435 slugging percentage  in 154 at bats with 30 R.B.I.s. As a sophomore played at Cowley County CC where he played in 50 games with 165 at bats, 44 R.B.I.s and a .370 batting average. As a freshman at Cowley CC he played in 50 games, had 122 at bats, 23 R.B.I.s and a .311 batting average. Played high school baseball for Coach Jamie McClure at Washington High School in Washington Okla..

Born April 5, 1989 in Weatherford, Okla.…Full name is Tyler William Hancock…Son of Tony and Kim Hancock…Majoring in sports communication.
