Biography

2019-20: In his Junior season Thunberg posted a 7.31 ERA with 7 strikeouts in 16 innings for the Jets.
Sophomore (2018-19): Appeared in 13 games, making 7 starts ... Put up a 2-5 record with a 6.56 ERA with 51 hits, 26 ER, and 27 strikeouts in 35 2/3 innings last season.

2018:  Thunberg went 6-6 in 13 starts in his freshman season as a Jet with a 4.72 ERA. He had nine complete games with 51 strikeouts with 80 innings pitched.  

In High School: Thunberg was a two year varsity player at Whitewater High School in Whitewater, Kansas…While at Whitewater Thunberg was on a state runner-up team his senior year…Thunberg also earned first-team all-state in 2016.
