2011 (Sophomore): Played and started in 14 games...Finished the season with two goals, one assist, 19 shots and 10 shots on goal.

2010 (Freshman): Led the 2010 squad with nine points, scoring four goals while adding one assist...Played and started in all 17 matches as a freshman...Scored two goals and added an assist in a 4-0 win over Tabor on Sept. 6 in Wichita...Named First Team All-Heartland Conference Midfielder.

Before Newman:
Played high school soccer for coach Thomas Rhodes at Southeast High School in WIchita, Kan. ...Capped his high school career by earning 2009 first team All-City, All-Metro, All-State and All-Region honors while leading the Buffaloes to their first ever City League title...Earned All-City Honorable Mention as a freshmen, then earned First Team All-City, All-Metro, All-State, and All-Region as a junior...Was a four-year honor roll student, Student of the Month in March 2008, and was chosen as an usher for the 2009 Southeast High graduation ceremonies...Played club soccer for the KC Wizards Jrs. 91 and 92 teams.
