As a Junior (2010):
Played in 11 games in his first season with the Jets...Took two shots, includin playing primarily as a defender.

Before Newman:
Played at Dodge City Community College where he played 13 games at defender for the Conquistadors as a sophomore...Served as team captain in both seasons at DCCC, and earned Honorable Mention All-Jayhawk Conference honors as a freshman...Played his high school soccer at Rangeview High School in Aurora, Colo. under Victor Strouse and Timothy Corby where he was a four-year varsity player for the RHS Raiders...earned first team All-Conference honors in each of his final two years while serving as team captain...Capped his high school career by earning All-State accolades as a senior...As a member of the Colorado Storm and Colorado Xtreme club teams under David Morgan and Tony McCall, Love led his teams to three-straight State Cup wins, and appearances in the Disney Showcase and the Final Four Colelge Showcase in 2005, 2006, and 2007.
