Shaeli Munroe

Shaeli Munroe is in her second year as assistant volleyball coach at Newman University in 2020-21. She joined the Jet family in March of 2019.

Munroe previously served on the coaching staff at her alma-matter Southwestern Christian University for one year (2017-18) as an assistant coach as well as head junior varsity coach.

Munroe began her career at Cowley (Kan.) College before finishing her collegiate career for Southwestern Christian (Okla.) University.

Munroe closed out her playing career as one of SCU’s most decorated players. In just two seasons she became a two-time All-Sooner Athletic Conference selection (honorable-mention in 2015 and first-team selection in 2016). She was also named to the NAIA All-South Central Region team by the AVCA in 2016.

Munroe ranks third all-time in kills at SCU with 703. Munroe tallied a career 102 block and 266 digs to go along with her 703 kills.

Munroe obtained her associates degree in sports administration from Cowley College in Arkansas City, Kan. before completing her bachelor’s degree in sports management from Southwestern Christian University in Bethany, Okla.
