DUNCAN, Okla – James Bolton fired a 2-under-par 70 in his second round to win the Territory Classic by one stroke at 1-under-par (143) in the two round tournament at the Territory Golf Course on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 14-15). The Newman men's golf team placed 11th out of 15 teams at the classic.
 
Bolton shot a 1-over-par 73 in his first round on Monday to put himself in position. His 2-under-par 70 in his second round was the best round of the tournament, and pushed the sophomore to a one-stroke victory over No. 2 finisher Andres Rodas of St. Edward's.
 
Charles Mommaerts shot a 1-over-par 73 in his second round and finished with a 152 (+8) in his two-day total. He tied for 13th. Logan Woodbridge shot two rounds of 84 to finish at 168. Thomas Allen carded rounds of 87 and 84 for a 171. Ben Cotton had rounds of 91 and 81 for a 172 total score.
 
The Jets are back in action in two weeks (Oct. 28-29) at the Classic at the Tribute in Dallas, Texas.
