WICHITA, Kan. — The Newman women's soccer team is set to begin its conference schedule this weekend when it will be taking on Texas A&M International on Thursday and St. Mary's on Saturday. The Jets will look to come out strong like have been playing these last couple of weeks.
SCOUTING NEWMAN
The Jets (3-2-0, 0-1-0 Heartland) went up against Washburn last Sunday and came out victorious winning the game 4-1. The Jets then traveled to Alva, Oklahoma and took on Northwestern Oklahoma State as the last nonconference game before they start their strong conference schedule. The Jets came out strong in their last nonconference game winning in Alva, Oklahoma 8-1.

The Dustdevils (1-2-1, 0-1-0 Heartland) took on Midwestern State on Sunday which was their last nonconference game before traveling to Wichita, Kansas to take on the Jets. The Dustdevils come into Thursday already playing conference game against St. Mary's on September 5.
