MARYVILLE, Mo. – The Newman volleyball team continued their road trip as they took on #10 Northwest Missouri State. The Jets played well throughout the match but it ultimately didn't go in their favor.

In the first set, Newman was able to keep it close early in the set. Trailing 13-11, the Jets had a hard time slowing down the Bearcats offense as Northwest Missouri State went on a 12-3 run to end the first set and win 25-14.

In the second set, the Jets looked really good but the set ended with the same result, NWMSU taking the point. It was a back and forth set but the Bearcats would end up winning by a score of 25-21.

In the third set, the Jets were looking to stretch the match out for at least one more set, but they came up short. It was another back and forth set but Northwest Missouri State was able to finish off the Jets 25-17 and the match 3-0.
