WICHITA, Kan. – On a windy Sunday afternoon, the Newman women's soccer team went to battle against Northwest Missouri State. The Jets fought it out to get win number seven on the season with great defense.

How It Happened
The Jets would be outshot in this match; they would take 5(3) shots compared to Northwest Missouri State's 13(8) shots. This game was a very tough defensive battle for the Jets, as the Bearcats kept the foot on the pedal to keep the pressure on Newman all game long. The first and only goal of the game came in the 27th minute when
