WICHITA, Kan. - On a brisk fall night at Wilkins Field, the Jets looked to secure their spot in the MIAA Conference Tournament with a win. The Bronchos came in looking to improve their already secured position. This match would turn out to be a defensive battle with both teams taking turns putting the pressure on one another. The Bronchos would take a late 1-0 lead after Kelsie Eason was able to score off of a rebound of her own shot.

How It Happened

After a shot by Madison Motil was saved by Newman goalkeeper Elena Garcia, Kelsie Eason was able to take a shot off of a rebound. Garcia would also be able to save that shot as well. However, the rebound went right back to Eason and she was able to find the back of the net this time.

The Jets will be back in action for their final regular season game Sunday at 1:00 P.M. as they travel to Tahlequah, Okla. to take on Northeastern State as they look to secure a spot in the playoffs.
