Wichita, Kan. – On Thursday night the Jets took to the pitch to take on the Thunderwolves. This game would be a back and forth game in the second half and finally finishing in Overtime. Newman was able to have the final say in the game with a game-winning goal with 3:44 left in overtime to get the first win of the season.

The Jets (0-1) were able to win the game in overtime, when Ed Jabbari found the back of the net with 3:44 left in OT with a final score of 3-2. The other two goals that were scored by Newman were by Andreas Agrell and Victor Rubio Lopez.

How It Happened
It took till the second half for the scoring to take action. They took 14 shots with 9 on goal to the Timberwolves 12 shots and 5 on goal. Colorado Pueblo started the scoring in the 50^th minute by Fernando Herrera. In the 62^nd minute, Andreas Agrell was able to beat the goalie to even the score at 1-1.
Newman was able to add another goal in 73^rd minute by Victor Rubio Lopez to make the score 2-1. But in the 88^th minute Carlos Espinoza of Colorado Pueblo scored to make the score 2-2.  In Overtime, with 3:44 left in the game Ed Jabbari beat the goalie in the bottom right of the net to secure the win for Newman.
