Grand Junction, Co. – On Friday afternoon the Jets took the field to take on the Mountaineers. This game would be a complete domination from the kick-off. Newman was able to put pressure on the Mountaineers taking their first shot in just the fourth minute.

How It Happened
The Jets dominated the whole game. They took 23 shots with 11 on goal to the Mountaineers 5 shots 2 on goal. In the 31
st minute a shot by Newman, Weaver was able to beat the goalie to give the Jets an early 1-0 lead in the first half. In the Second half, Weaver was at it again and scored for the second time in the match at the 47
th minute. Newman added the final touch to the match when
Makenna Schmal scored in the 79
th minute and Newman went on to win the match.
Notes
Jackie Lari continues her dominance at goalie and now increases her scoreless streak now at 180 minutes without giving up a goal.
