Grand Junction, Co. – On Sunday afternoon the Jets took the field to take on the Mavericks. This game would go down to overtime to decide a winner. Newman was able to put pressure on the Mavericks in overtime scoring in the first 35 seconds to win the match.

The Jets (2-0-1) were able to finally put away the Mavericks when Kyla Kreemer scored in overtime to secure the win for the Jets.  With great defense, this would prove to be the only scoring that would happen in the match. Lari would continue her dominance with another shoutout win, her fourth of the season.

How It Happened
The Jets won the game by some great defense and stellar goaltending throughout this match. The Jets would only take 5 shots with 2 on goal to the Mavericks 13 shots with 7 on goal. It took till overtime for scoring happened in this match, but in the first minute of overtime Kyla Kreemer would beat the goalie and secure the win for the Jets and improve to 3-0-1.
