CLAREMORE, Okla. - The Newman Women's Soccer team traveled to Rogers State this evening to take on the Hillcats. A chance for the Jets to extend their winning streak to four games. They were able to do just that. Scoring three goals and being able to hold Rogers State scoreless. Newman's defense continues to impress as they haven't allowed a goal all season.

Early in the second half the Jets were able to strike and break the 0-0 tie. In the 49' Vanessa Ortiz was able to find the back of the net on a ball from Kennedy Weaver. This would prove to be all Newman would need as their defense continued their dominance.

Behind her teams defense, Jackie Lari was able to secure her fourth shutout of the year. This would extend her streak to 425:35 minutes of shutout play.
