EDMOND, Okla. -  The Jets traveled to take on #15 Central Oklahoma as they looked to keep their four game winning streak alive. After playing all of regulation and two overtime periods scoreless, the Jets would think they won the game in the last second of the second overtime period only to have it waved off by the referee saying that time had ran out.

Newman trailed in shots, taking 9(2) to the Bronchos 17(6). The Jets defense was able to hold the Bronchos offense, averaging 3.67 goals per game, scoreless for the first time this season. This would be the Jets sixth straight shutout as they have not allowed a goal all season. 

Notes

With help from her defense, Jackie Lari had 6 saves and was able to secure her fifth shutout of the season. Extending her shutout streak to 535:35 minutes.

What's Next

The Jets will be back in action on Friday, September 27 at 7:00 P.M. against Northeastern State for their first MIAA Conference game and home game of the season.
