NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Newman Men's Cross Country team took the short trip up I-135 to North Newton to compete in the Bethel Invite this morning. Despite the 25 mph winds and cold temperatures, Alejandro Ultreras and Kevin Chemalmal were both able to finish in the top 7 to lead the Jets.  Nathan Wickoren of Kansas City Smoke won the men's race with a time of 24:29.  Newman finished in third place, just 3 points behind the first place team, St. Mary's.
