WICHITA, Kan. – On Friday Afternoon, the Newman Men's Cross Country team hosted its first ever MIAA meet. The Jets finished in seventh place as a team against really good competition.
Kevin Chemalmal had the best finish for the Jets as he placed 20
th with a time of 26:07, with Alex Ultreras finished shortly after in 22
nd place with a time of 26:09. Jhordan Cope of Northwest Missouri State won the men's race with a time of 24:50. Nebraska Kearney won the Men's Team Championship, finishing less than a second ahead of Northwest Missouri State.
