CLAREMORE, OK - Newman travelled to Rogers State for a Great American Conference match.  The game was made up after it was postponed from Thursday, September 23rd.  It was the Hillcats' night start to finish.  The Jets were defeated by a score of 4-1.  The Jets record now sits at 0-7-1, 0-2-1 GAC.

RSU scored 4 unanswered before the Jets got their tally late.  The Hillcats jumped out to 2-0 lead after a tentative start.  Their second goal came off a penalty kick with just over a minute to go in the half after Kellen Daugherty committed a foul in the goal box.

Laurin Aumueller stopped 9 of 13 shots that RSU put on net.  The Jets were outshot 23-5 in total on Monday night.  The Hillcats also earned 7 corners to only two for the Jets.

Newman was able to get one across when Aleks Nowaki beat the Hillcat goalkeeper at 73:40.  The goal came after the Hillcats had grown their lead to 4.

Cliff Brown and his team are in the midst of a 5 game in 10 day stretch.  The Jets are 0-2-1 thus far.  Up next, the Jets travel to Southern Nazarene.  The match is set for Thursday, October 7 at 7 PM.
