MARYVILLE, Mo. - Newman played the back end of their Missouri road trip at Northwest Missouri State. The Jets suffered their third consecutive loss Saturday night.
Jose Lugo's team now sits at 9-16, 5-14 MIAA. The Bearcats won in straight sets 25-16, 25-13, 25-19 over the Jets.
The Jets offensive struggles continued as the team hit just .152 and had only 31 kills as a team. Sophomore
Salome Romp had 10 of those kills, leading the way for the hitters.
Jenna DeVore assisted on 16 of Newman's points while
Natalie Morales dug 16 Bearcat attacks herself.
The Jets remain outside the playoff picture with just one game remaining at Central Missouri on Thursday, November 11.
