WICHITA, Kan. - In a non-conference matchup, the Newman Men's Soccer team squared off with Bethel College in a game that was scheduled to be played in Newton, Kan. that had to be moved to Stryker Indoor because of weather.
The Jets would take command early in the first half scoring two goals before the half time intermission. Newman would come out in the second half looking to build on their momentum. They would do just that as they would strike for four goals in the period to beat the Threshers 6-0.

Chase Bowman would combine to shutout the Threshers as both goalkeepers would secure two saves on the day.
The Jets will be back in action on Tuesday, February 23 as they host Rogers State for their first GAC Conference contest of the season with kick-off set for 2:00 pm.
