TAHLEQUAH, OK – Newman travelled to Northeastern State Friday night. The trip was not fruitful for the Jets as they dropped the contest 3-0.
Newman now 0-4-1 was outshot 18-15 by the Riverhawks who sit at 3-2-2. The Jets matched the NSU shots in the second half, but could not get one across.
Northeastern State scored 3 unanswered goals for the win. Goals were scored by:

Heimbach's goals were her first and second on the season. Her second goal was scored after a penalty kick was saved by Newman goalkeeper
Jackie Lari. Heimbach squeaked the ball past Lari who had already extended for the initial attempt.
Offensively,
Makenna Schmal got all three of her shots on net and was trailed by
Makenzie Shay and
Caitlin Davis who each put a pair on net to test the NSU goalkeeper.
